Perhaps "(2021)" should be added to the title.

I love most of the archive video and the great work that its members does.

I wish though, the inflationary use "trinity" in the context of Newton-Darwin-Hawking had not be misused (three humans do not a Trinity make, Trinity refers to the Christian concept of unity of the three persons God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit). Neither of them were gods, and Hawking did not achieve a Nobel prize in physics. Hawking was intelligent and discovered some important things, but he was also a fallible person (we all are) - e.g. in his marriage (details omitted out of respect for his family) & I recall that he charged an entrance fee for some of his lectures.

Hopefully these materials will be made available for all, and yes, may they inspire future young people to embrace research with enthusiasm, so hopefully one day they will find out more of the fundamental laws of nature.

It isn't inflationary, it's one of the definitions of trinity:

> 2. (not capitalized) : a group of three closely related persons or things

Yeah just because your faith uses the term doesn't make it ineligible for common vernacular. I don't think non-christians much care (or even know) what the "trinity" is, that's between you and yourself.

Pronouns.. yes, I see.

Hmm. Are you okay? What you're saying doesn't make sense. Is your carbon monoxide detector plugged in? Are you smelling burnt toast? Because the words you're sharing with the world lack coherent meaning, my friend.

Barring that, maybe you clicked on the wrong comment before typing your answer? You can make the letters bigger in your browser by tapping Shift and + at the same time.

Actually, you're the one acting disturbed. The GP just gave a simple counterexample.

RE: Your Trinity contention, I couldnt see any reference in the link to it all? Many colleges at Cambridge are directly named after Christian references. Indeed Trinity College and Trinity Hall are both ancient institutions (Newton, Hawking where students at each respectively, while the Darwins (inc. Charles) were also associated with Trinity, Corpus Christi and St. Johns).

The materials are available for all (stated point blank), you just need to register as a reader at the University Library, a straight forward process.

Christianity doesn't have an exclusive trademark on the use of the word trinity. The amount of common words that come from religious texts is so huge that making a fuss out of this is very weird. Do you also get angry when someone says a book is "the bible of electronics" or any other of the million expressions?

Yeah, this matters to Christians but not to others. Just like how people use juggernaut.

If we ever found the meaning of life, it'd be behind a paywall. It's a shame that papers of such importance with regards to black holes and the universe are behind a paywall. The URL indicates "-for-all" but the reality is, you have to be a researcher or historian.

PS. The link "Find out more about joining Cambridge University Library as a private researcher or other user" is 404 broken.

The article was published last month. I think the novel aspect was the completion of the digitisation effort.
