There's also a tension, that sometimes the very good people become resented & disliked. People who want the best can be intimidating, and sometimes as in this article it's up to Alice to understand & find empathy & figure out how to be kinder. But sometimes it's just a bad org with people who resent the A player and who are going to resent you for your skills and talents.

Sometimes people not liking you isn't your fault. And there's sometimes limited options to do anything about it.
