It is the same, or even worse in Spain. We are entering an age of energy poverty where average people need to think twice before turning appliances on. It's crazy to think about that in a top 10-15 economy. EU needs to detach energy prices from gas prices ASAP. Countries like Spain are actively penalized for creating energy from renewable sources.
