Here's a problem. You are a journalist. It's a bit quiet out there. Not much to report on. You see that someone wrote an article 3 years ago [1] about the Riemann hypothesis. They didn't prove it, of course, they just showed some linkage with some physical phenomena. How do you turn this into a nice title that can generate clicks? If you say "proven" or "solved", that's a straight lie, you can't do that. If you say "explored" or "investigated", nobody's going to pay any attention. How about "unveiled"? Yep, I think "unveil" is quite optimal for the situation. Can you find a better one?
