I wonder where you live, do you mind sharing the region?

(I have the privilege to live in central Europe, where OSM is actually chock-full of information.)

I'm genuinely interested, but when I zoom in to a 'random' town in the Rockies I see this

Seems mapped quite good to me. You might find some time to contribute a bit to make OSM even better, all users profit, not only Google :)
