That seems pretty damning.




I don't know what became of it but there was already a crash with dashcam video example of this in 2016: https://www.autoblog.com/2016/09/14/fatal-tesla-crash-china-...


No it’s not, because when you turn on Autopilot or any sinilar system, it explains these limitations. They are very good at lane keeping and avoiding traffic at highway speeds, but dependent on driver for detection of stationary obstacles.

On typical sports of city streets, they are much better at detecting stationary objects.
