Hard not to notice that the Tesla was doing 10mph over the speed limit. Keeping to the speed limit is probably a better idea for auto pilot as a general rule, though it may not have made a difference in this particular accident.

Doesn't the auto pilot function as a normal cruise control, ie the driver sets the speed, unless it's following traffic?
