ipfs mount.

Since ipfs is content-addressable storage, it's readonly. If we make it cow, encourage people to seed is easy.

IPFS is slow as molasses and their solution was to introduce paid pinning services. Complete failure.

And then they announced they will willingly and proactively delete any hash that any legislative agency tells them to, and it was dead in the next minute.

Most distributed systems simply don't live up to their theory. Having a hub is simply always easier and consumers hopping temporally from hub to hub is just the most efficient mechanism.

Agreed. The idea behind IPFS is nice but we need to combine it with all the good lessons from the torrent software and stuff like NNCP in order to have something truly distributed, resilient, fault-tolerant and automatically replicated.

> So, how do we stop people lionising "strong men"?

Prostitute literature. https://www.6parknews.com/newspark/view.php?app=news&act=vie...

Deconstructing the heroic view of history, no matter what the real history is, makes us understand that every so-called strong person can be as despicable as a prostitute, so that we can only focus on what they are currently doing, not on their past identity

just one tab use SSE and others use storage event.

Is there some code example?

OKR should be something those managers use, not things we programmers(well if you like, call me coder is ok, I don't care) should do. Because it's those managers manage our jobs. If no one can manage my job except me, I'd like to use OKR.

So, the future is Universal Basic Income and Open Source.

You became a millionaire. But I, who had always ranked in the top ten in a small town of more than 100+k people before college, still did not own a house after working for 10+ years.

php + htmx should work good. But it's still website, not webapp. Complex front end operations are hard to implemente in htmx.

api server + react/vue/angular work good. They are just js(templates compiled to js). They are for building webapps.

Anyway, html is not turing complete.

I'm going to quit my job to relax. And my relax is to build some open source things.

I got fired with severance, and took the opportunity to do this. It feels so rewarding to work on your own project, waking up and just deciding what you want to do next with it. There were also periods where anxiety got to me, because it's not giving me enough money to live from it (it barely supports its own costs). But all in all I'm enjoying it and learning a lot in the process. If anything, it makes me want to keep trying to find financial independence and new ideas.

That’s how I approach open source in the first place. And the part that others can help you along your way, while you allow them to use your code as well.
